I have recently been elected to serve as President of the Georgia Chapter of ACHCA. I am very excited about this opportunity. I have been in long-term care for 27 years and have been employed with Ethica Health & Retirement Communities during my entire tenure. I currently serve as the Administrator of Traditions Health and Rehabilitation in Lithonia, a 182 bed facility.
My husband Craig and I have been married 29 years. We have three children and one grandson. We have had “empty-nest” syndrome for a few years and decided it was time for a new puppy. “Augustus McCrae”, a dachshund is named after a character in my favorite movie, Lonesome Dove. He is spoiled rotten and receives the royal treatment. We have a second home in Myrtle Beach, SC and go every chance we get.
I recently became certified through ACHCA and consider this one of my greatest professional accomplishments! I look forward to growing our state chapter and working with the National Office of ACHCA.
If you are not a member of the college, please make this a professional priority and become active in our Chapter. It is a great networking opportunity! If you are already a member and desire to become certified, our chapter will reimburse you for the costs associated with certification. |
